Garlic Cheese Bread

I know this doesn't sound real exciting but I roasted the garlic and it does add a nice taste.

Garlic Cheese Bread

1 clove of garlic per tablespoon of butter - I did 4
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 tbsp parsley
french or ciabatta bread
Romano or Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Cut 1/8" of the flat end of the garlic cloves.  Wrap in aluminum foil and roast garlic for a half hour at 350° or 15-20 minutes on the grill.  .

Let cool and then mix in the softened butter with the parsley.  Grill or bake the garlic bread until golden brown.  Remove from the heat and grate fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese on top.

  1. I just love garlic bread. Probably don't make it enough, but I know my family would love this.
