Peach Pound Cake



Peach Pound Cake

1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4  large eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups peaches, peeled and diced (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup peach preserves

Cream butter and sugar.  Add in eggs and vanilla.  Combine all the dry ingredients in a small bowl and gradually add into butter mixture.  Add in peaches and peach preserves.

Grease a loaf or tube pan generously.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 325°F
